San Teodoro ( OT): The Beaches The Beaches















THE BELT
La Cinta is the most famous and popular beach in San Teodoro. Located on the northern outskirts of the town, is easily reached by way of the Tyrrhenian and Gramsci.
The beach is characterized by a fine white sand, stretches with a curved shape for about 4.5 km. A narrow strip of land rich in dense vegetation separates the waters of the lagoon.
The Cinta is the ideal place for healthy walks, the most northern part, in fact, between the sea and the lagoon, has natural features of great interest both in terms of wildlife, both with respect to the flora. In the terminal area, near the mouth of the lagoon through which communicates with the sea, lies the grove of tall and dense juniper, juniper, large patches of mastic and rosemary. From the shore you can see birds on the tin (flamingos, cormorants, gulls, ducks, herons, etc..) and closed the nearby picturesque fishing.















CALA D'AMBRA

Partendo da San Teodoro prendere la SS 125 in direzione Olbia, dopo aver percorso circa 4,5 km si arriva alla frazione Lu Fraili, dove sulla destra si trova l'incrocio per Puntàldia. Seguire le indicazioni per Puntàldia e arrivando nella rotonda all'interno del villaggio seguire le indicazioni per la spiaggia. La spiaggia è la continuazione della spiaggia della Cinta, separata solo dall'imbocco della laguna, La Foca.
Il porto di Puntàldia con i suoi 400 posti barca è uno dei porti più importanti della costa orientale, sempre nei pressi è ubicato a nine-hole golf course that is the setting for this beautiful peninsula overlooking the bay of San Teodoro.
















LU Impostu

CALA Brandinchi

CAPO CODA CAVALLO

Starting from San Teodoro, take the SS 125 Olbia, after about 4.5 km you reach the village Fraili Lu, once passed this village and after about 2 km you take the junction Coda Cavallo, after about 4.5 km on the left is the entrance to the dirt road leading to the parking lot of the beach. PUNTA MOLARA

Continuing on the SS 125 to Olbia you arrive at the village of Montipitrosu, after 1 km turn right, keeping to the left you reach Punta Molara, while on the right you will arrive at Juniper Cove. Punta Molara is a window on the sea of \u200b\u200bTavolara, nestled in a picturesque landscape of rocks and Mediterranean vegetation. This area is topped by
Punta Montipitròsu, a granite top small but dominant height, from which the eye can see most of the marine park and goes beyond Capo Figari and the mountains of the Costa Smeralda to the east and north Limbara - West. In the more wooded Punta Molara lies the garden of the Mediterranean.












CALA Ghjlgolu
Continuing on the SS 125 to Olbia you arrive at the village of Montipitrosu on the right are the signs to Cala Ghjlgolu, holding the left leads to the inlet. The beach
describes an arc protected by headlands, close to the cove lies the small pond of Ghjlgolu frequented by herons, cormorants, ducks and other birds.
In this stretch of coastline full of coves and gorges overlooking the sea a number of pink granite rocks.
